Physical Medicine and Rehab (PM&R) Pain Management Physician Chicago, IL

We are looking for a PM&R Pain Management physician to join our large medical group full time in Chicago, IL.

We are looking for a motivated and compassionate PM&R/Pain management physician to join our multispecialty group in the Chicago area. The position would require rotating to various offices in the Chicago region for daily clinic hours with procedures at the surgery center 1 to 2 ½ days per week. There is no call and no chronic pain management. Procedures include epidurals, pain management procedures, and EMG’s.

Duties:

• Patient exam/consultation (HPI, medical history, physical exam, review pertinent medical records/imaging)
• Diagnosis and create a Treatment plan
• Provide therapies and treatment for a wide range of pain conditions
• Outpatient clinic work daily
• Order/review imaging/records/labs
• Communicate and consult with other physicians regarding patient needs
• Discuss actions with patients that will help improve their lives/ Patient education
• Follow HIPAA Guidelines
• Keep precise medical records for each patient
• Prescribe necessary medications or therapy
• Explain all medical procedures and test results thoroughly
• Provide patients with plan of care details
• Treatments/Diagnosis to include performing epidurals, EMG’s, and other pain management procedures

Requirements:

• BC/BE Pain Management Physician, Physical Medicine and Rehab Physician, or Anesthesiologist
• Current and valid IL State medical license

Schedule:

• Full-time
• 40-45 hour work week

Salary:

• Base salary plus bonus $400,000 plus
