Practice Details

• Seeking a BE/BC Neurologist to join our growing neurosciences team in Rockford.

• This is an exciting opportunity to join a collegial, flexible practice with significant patient demand and the ability to shape your clinical focus. With a large and established base of more than 100 primary care providers, your practice will benefit from this strong and consistent referral pipeline.

• Physicians in our program enjoy the ability to practice general neurology or develop a subspecialty focus, including neuroimmunology/MS, movement disorders, or other areas of interest, while collaborating with specialists across UW Health and colleagues in Madison. Our newly remodeled clinic, supportive care team, and flexible scheduling—including a four-day workweek option and no call responsibilities—create an environment where physicians can build a rewarding and sustainable practice.

  Your clinical support includes the following:

• Strong referral base with 150+ neurology referrals per week from an extensive regional network of primary care providers

• Flexible practice model with the ability to focus on general neurology or build a subspecialty program (MS, movement disorders, neuroimmunology, and more)

• Newly remodeled clinic space designed for efficient, patient-centered care

• Manageable patient volumes with generous appointment lengths 

• Dedicated care team support including RN and MA staffing

• Collaboration with specialists and advanced imaging teams through UW Health

• Opportunity to teach medical students and residents if desired

• Ambient listening technology integrated within the Epic EMR

•     Competitive salary range based on experience ($365,727 - $440,754)
