Neurohospitalist Locums Job in Kentucky | April through July

One of our partnering facilities is seeking locums vacation coverage beginning in April through the end of July.

Dates needed: 
--4/6-13 am
--4/20-27
--5/4-10 am
--5/19-24 am
--6/1-8 am
--6/16-23 am
--6/30-7/6 am
--7/11-21 am
--7/24-8/1 am
--Shifts: Monday - Sunday, 7am - 5pm on site followed by night call 5pm-7am
--24-hour call coverage
--Weekends will require on site rounding and night call

Job Details:
--Patients per day in Unit: 4-6 consults per day on average and could vary
--Inpatient consultation service normally follows between 10-15 patients on average
--Procedures: acute stroke care/tPA, CT/CTA/CTP interpretation required. EEG and NCV/EMG a bonus but not required.

--Primary Stroke Center
--EMR: EPIC

Locum Requirements:
--Credentials Accepted: Physician (MD/DO)
--Board level: BC/BE
--Boards: Neuro
--Certs: BLS or ACLS, ATLS, DEA Certificate
--KY License is priority due to April start date and onboarding timeline
--Required Experience: must be comfortable with acute stroke care including tPA administration and CT/CTA/CTP interpretation
