Job Description
Centerpoint Medical Center seeks an inpatient neurohospitalist to join their team located in Independence, Missouri.
Qualified Candidates:
Physicians will be based in Independence supporting Centerpoint Medical Center's inpatient service
Vascular/stroke fellowship trained or experienced neurohospitalist physicians preferred
100% inpatient role
Flexible scheduling; option for 7 on 7 off schedule or 180 shifts annually
Work alongside APPs

Centerpoint Medical Center features 285+ private rooms, 440+ physicians on the medical staff, a robust complement of subspecialists, and 1300+ staff.
HCA Midwest Health Neurosciences Service Line is comprised of 13 neurologists with expertise in movement disorder, clinical neurophysiology, multiple sclerosis, and migraine subspecialties. The neurologists are vital to our care delivery team, focused on the inpatient and outpatient settings, further enhanced by 6+ advanced practice providers and a team of stroke coordinators. The service line also includes 14 neurosurgeons with various subspecialty interests within a general neurosurgery practice.
Our program includes one comprehensive stroke center with four primary stroke centers across the South Kansas City corridor.
