A community-based, not-for-profit acute-care critical-access hospital that serves the Northeast Kingdom region in Vermont is adding a Neurologist. The hospital offers a wide range of services, including primary and preventive care, inpatient and outpatient treatments, surgical and specialty services, and a physician-staffed emergency department operating 24 hours a day. About the Opportunity:

• Join a small, close-knit community hospital as a neurologist in a high-demand area
• No call required
• Patient Volume averages?14-16 patients per day
• Patient Population:?Seizures, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's disease, dementia, tremors, stroke, headaches, back pain, arm pain, and general neurology conditions
• Procedures include:?EEG interpretation, IVIG administration, biopsies, nerve conduction studies, and EMG
• EMG experience required
• Must be comfortable with EEG interpretation and nerve conduction studies
• Meditech EMR
• Recognized NCQA patient-centered medical home
