The Director of Nursing – Labor & Delivery will provide leadership, operational oversight, and strategic direction for the Labor & Delivery department within a confidential acute care hospital located in Joshua Tree, California. This role is responsible for ensuring high-quality patient care, regulatory compliance, staff leadership, departmental budgeting, and operational efficiency in a high-acuity clinical environment. The Director will work closely with hospital leadership teams to support patient outcomes, performance improvement initiatives, and overall departmental success.

Ideal candidates will have an active RN license, a minimum of 5 years of Labor & Delivery nursing experience, and at least 2 years of leadership experience at the Manager or Director level within a hospital setting. Strong knowledge of Joint Commission standards, healthcare regulations, budgeting, team development, and multidisciplinary leadership is required. A Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or a related field and current CPR certification are mandatory, while a Master’s Degree is preferred.

This is a full-time permanent leadership opportunity offering a competitive salary range of $135,200 – $180,000 annually, along with a $25,000 sign-on bonus and potential relocation assistance for qualified candidates.
