Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant opportunity in Manchester, CT

Position Highlights:

• 249-bed community hospital located in Manchester, CT
• 3 physicians and 1 APP during the day, dedicated Nocturnist overnight
• 22 bed Closed ICU - managed with own intensivist group
• No procedures
• Average overnight census – 65
• Average overnight admissions - 7
• Day APP – starts with 13 patients and possible 2 admissions throughout the day
• Site Coordinator and Clinical Performance Nurse
• Family Residency on site to help with night admissions
• 7 on/7 off – day APP 7am to 7pm; Nocturnist 7pm to 7am
• No Cath Lab on-site – all patients that present to ER get transferred out.
• EMR – Meditech with Dragon, upgrading to EPIC in July 2026
• Codes: Hospitalists are a part of the Rapid Response Team
• Location: 20 minutes from Hartford and other great communities to live
• Open to EXPERIENCED NP or PA

Compensation:

• • $150,000/year (may be flexible for a very experienced APP)
  • Productivity incentive

Qualifications:

• Board-certified physician assistant/Nurse Practitioner
• 2+ years of acute care nurse practitioner or physician assistant experience is required.
