Physician Assistant OR Nurse Practitioner Fort Walton Beach FL
$130k-$140k annually
We are looking for a motivated Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our growing medical team at our busy office full time in Fort Walton Beach FL. We are looking for a PA or NP to focus on helping our patients decrease pain and restore function so that they can live happier, healthier, and more active lives. The Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant is responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and managing patient's pain issues in accordance with the standard of care. This position will require traveling to our offices in Niceville and Destin.

Duties:
- Patient exam/evaluation to include medical history, relevant imaging/studies
- Utilize a multimodal approach to include but not limited to medication, physical therapy and bracing where appropriate
- Interpret medical tests in the context of patient care and explains results to patients
- Monitor patient's compliance to treatment plan (i.e.: obtaining urine drug screens, where applicable)
- Record complete, timely and legible medical records
- Liaise with other medical professionals related to patient care
- Coordinate with medical assistants, nurses, and other medical and administrative staff
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks and participating in professional societies
Requirements:
- Graduation from an Accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner Program
- PA-C/NP Licensed in FL
Salary:
- $130k-$140k annually (Depending on experience)
