Gyn Oncology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Locums Job in Georgia

Jackson and Coker is seeking a Gynecologic Oncology APP for a locum tenens assignment in Georgia.

Assignment Details:
--Start Date: As soon as possible (credentialing timeline 90–120 days)
--Duration: 4–6 months
--Clinic Schedule:
       -Clinic coverage 4 days per week (Monday–Thursday)
       -Clinic hours: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
--Patient Volume in clinic: 15–18 patients per day
--Practice Setting: Busy Gynecologic Oncology surgical practice with strong ambulatory clinic focus
--Working Alongside: 1 Gynecologic Oncology physician

Call Responsibilities:
--Call Structure: shared call coverage between physician on staff and the APPs within the month and some weekends
--Weekend Call Hours: Friday at 12:00 PM through Monday at 8:00 AM
--Average Callbacks (24-hour period): 5–10
--Rounding: APP typically rounds the day after surgeries are performed
--Average Inpatient Census: 8–10 patients

Provider Requirements:
--APP Type: NP or PA considered
--GYN Oncology experience required
--Board certification not required
--Schedule split between multiple APPs: Not preferred

Scope of Coverage:
--Inpatient rounding
--Ambulatory clinic visits
--Pelvic exams
--Vulvar biopsies
--Endometrial biopsies
--Basic wound care
