Nurse Practitioner Hospital Based job located in Massachusetts

Children's Hospital seeking a Locum Acute Care Pediatric Nurse Practitioner
--Start date: 08/04/2026
--Contract length: 3 months with option to extend
--3x12 hour shifts per week 
--No call
--Weekends primarily needed; 7a-7:30p or 7p-7:30a; night shift is highest need. 2-3 blocked shifts per week. Friday-Sunday or Saturday-Monday night schedule is preferred, or just Saturday and Sunday. 
--Support staff: attending MD, charge APRN during days, 4 APRN Monday-Saturday, 3 on Sundays 
--Department Description: anesthesia department, pain division 
--Patient Volume: 10-12 
--Patient Age Group: pediatrics 
--EMR: EPIC 
--No procedures for locums - provider will work in inpatient pain service. They take care of patients after surgery who have pain (cancer pain, sickle cell, etc). 
--A lot of patients (approx. half) are critically ill or weaning from sedatives. They also take care of patients on PCAs and epidurals.  
--Required: Must be Certified Peds NP or peds acute care NP with experience,  MA license,  DEA/CSR,  PALS,  minimum 2 years experience 
--MMR and Varicella are required; COVID and Flu are required but allowed to have medical or religious exemptions.
