Coverage Details
-- 10-hour midlevel shift (11 AM – 9 PM)
-- Daily coverage
-- Credentialing timeframe: 90 days

Requirements
-- Board Certified NP
-- Michigan License (no IMLC)
-- DEA
-- ACLS/PALS
-- Must be local
-- Clean background for quick credentialing

Assignment Details
-- Average patient volume: 20 per day
-- Number of beds: 25
-- Trauma Level: Provisional Level 4
-- Percent of total hospital admissions received from ED: 8%
-- Percent of ED patients admitted to the hospital per day: 8%
-- Percent of ED patients transferred per day: 2%
-- Annual ER volume: 20,000
-- Supervision: APP works autonomously; physician available for consultation
-- Support staff: 1 full-time NP, 2 PRN PAs
-- ED responds to house codes
-- 24-hour availability for Radiology, Lab, OR
-- Consultants: Ortho, OB, Gen Surg, Neuro, Uro
-- EMR: Cerner
