Certified Nurse Midwife Locums Job in Michigan | 12-Hour Shifts | April 1 – August 29 | Assignment #113861

Shift Description
-- 12-hour shifts: Day shifts: 7 AM – 7 PM, Night shifts: 7 PM – 7 AM
-- April: 9–10 shifts available
-- May–June: 25–28 shifts available
-- July–August: Reduced shift availability

Coverage Details
-- Inpatient setting only; no clinic coverage
-- Temporary privileges available

Requirements
-- CNM credential
-- Minimum of 3 years of experience

Required Procedures / Skills
-- Vaginal deliveries, including laceration repair
-- Speculum and pelvic examinations

Assignment Details
-- High-volume, high-acuity hospital environment
-- Coverage includes OB/ED triage and labor & delivery
-- Working with OB/GYN residents and interns
-- Patient load ranges from 1–5 patients at a time
-- Rounding on approximately 5–10 patients per shift (about 2 hours)
-- Managing an average of 4–5 labors per shift
-- Teaching and supporting OB/GYN interns
-- First assist available but not required
-- Team-based care model with faculty physician support
-- Dedicated triage, labor, and postpartum units
-- Consistent RN staffing in triage
