Shift Details
-- Day shifts: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
-- Night shifts: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
-- Weekend coverage required
Requirements
-- Must be board certified
-- Active Michigan license at time of name clear
-- NRP advanced provider or instructor status required
-- Neonatal experience required; new grads not accepted
Required Procedures / Skills
-- Delivery room attendance
-- Neonatal resuscitation
-- PICC line placement
-- Umbilical line placement
-- Needle aspiration
-- Chest tube placement
Assignment Details
-- Practice setting: Inpatient neonatal intensive care unit
-- Average patient volume: 10–12 patients per APP per day
-- Patient demographic: Neonates
-- EMR: Epic
-- Level I trauma facility
-- Level III NICU
-- APP will not work autonomously
-- Supervising physician will be present during the assignment
