Job Description
Seeking a full time and Part time Physician Assistant (PA-C) Nurse Practitioner (NP) for an outpatient private practice in Brainerd, Minnesota ( 60 miles North of St Cloud, Minnesota)
This is a Physical medicine office
We prefer the Physician Assistant (PA-C) Nurse Practitioner (NP) to have experience in joint injection and Trigger point injections but willing to train as well.
Brainerd Lakes Area and has a year long population of around 70,000 people. We have resorts that are rated in the top 100 in the world, fine dining, multiple golf courses ranked in the top 100 in the country, over 200 lakes in a 20 mile radius, great shopping (Target, Best Buy, Ulta, TJ Maxx, etc.), and one of the top rated school districts in the state. It's a very picturesque area where many well known celebrities have their million dollar cabins .
If you are looking for sporting events or higher end shopping, we are just over 90 minutes away from Minneapolis/St.Paul with all the professional sports teams (Twins, Wild, Vikings, etc) and upscale shopping (Nordstroms, JCrew, Pottery Barn, Mall of America, etc.).
St.Cloud is a larger city (around 100,000) that is just 40 minutes away. Duluth is a well known city for hiking, camping, other hippie-ish stuff along the North Shore of Lake Superior. Walker is a smaller community about 60 minutes North of Brainerd that sits on Leech Lake which is a very large lake that a lot of people love taking their large sailboats on.
If you need training in a orthopedic rehab setting, we will fly you to a couple trainings per month in order to get it down. It's a very rewarding model as you are able to help people actually heal and get better rather than just cover up their symptoms.
