Certified Nurse Midwife Locums Job in Montana| Full Time plus Call Coverage | Beginning in September| Assignment # 110216

Coverage Needed:  
--Coverage from 9/01/2025 - 12/31/2025 
--24-hour call coverage: 9/11, 9/13, 10/2, 10/14, 10/17, 10/18, 10/27,11/1, 11/2, 12/7, 12/8, 12/22 (19:00 –7:00), 12/26, 12/29 

Shift Description:  
--40 hours per week/8 hours a day 
--Provider will be scheduled for 24-hour call shifts on Labor and Delivery unit (required to be onsite in the facility for the duration of the call shift) - may be asked to see an occasional patient in the clinic during their call shift 
--Provider will be scheduled for 1-3 shifts per week, Sunday-Saturday 

Requirements:   
--Current state license as a certified nurse midwife 
--American Midwifery Certification Board 
--Eligible for state-controlled substance license II through V 
--Eligible for Federal DEA Certification II through V 
--BLS – American Heart Association  
--Provider will be first assist for cesarean delivery of practice’s patients- Required 
--More than 1 year of experience- prefer at least 2 years of experience in full-scope midwifery practice 

Assignment Details:  
--Reason for coverage: vacancy 
--Willing to split multiple providers 
--Not required to supervise other healthcare providers 
--400 deliveries per year; 2-6 patients per shift 
--Skills desired: willing to collaborate and co-manage high risk patients in partnership with MFM and OB/GYN providers. Desires someone with great communication skills. 
--EMR: EPIC 
--Patient demographics: adult 
--Support staff: MA, RN 
--Sleep rooms available in department
