Medical center is seeking Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner to provide locums coverage for their Neuroscience ICU clinical team
- Dates Coverage Is Needed: 7am-7pm
- Nov 25-Dec1
- Dec 3-9
- Feb 13-17
- Feb 18-25
- May 5-11
- May 20-27
- Established clinical neuroscience team of 10 neurosurgeons, including dual-trained cerebrovascular specialists and 20 + neurologists including an interventional neurologist, 4 vascular neurologists, 4 Neurointensivist, and 13 subspecialty neurologists.
- Large dedicated NSICU team inclusive of 4 physicians and 11 advanced practice providers who providing 24/7 coverage
- Inpatient responsibilities only             
- Ability to perform ICU level care as a provider                         
- Locums provider will respond to codes
- No ER backup
- No Call                                                                                               
- Required Certifications:  ACLS, BLS
- Integrated EMR: EPIC
- Avg total inpatient Census:  20
- Avg # of patients/day/provider 4
- Avg # of admissions/day 2
- # of beds: 20
- List of Procedures: Arterial Lines, Central Lines, Lumbar Punctures, Vent Management
