Job Description

Job Overview
  • Start Date: Start as soon as privileged (~60 days)
  • Setting: Inpatient
  • Patient Volume: 8-14 patients per day
  • Job Details:
  • Coverage for Cardiac and Thoracic patients. No surgical or operating room needs. No call.
  • Extent of procedures are: removal of chest tubes, bedside pleurodesis
  • Only floor patients. No CT-Surgery ICU patients need to be covered
  • Inpatient only with rounding, consults, admissions/discharges
  • 40hr work week. Daylight hours only. 1-2 weeks per month
  • Client Requirements: Must have active NC license. Must have experience covering CT Surg patients
  • EMR: Epic
