Certified Nurse Midwife Locums Job in Oregon | 10 Shifts/Month | Beginning March – Ongoing | Assignment #112786

Coverage Dates
-- March: 1–13 
-- April: 1–8 
-- May: 1–13 
-- June: 1–7 
-- July: 1–13 
-- August: 1–7 
-- September: 1–13 
-- October: 1–9

Shift Details
-- Full-time weekday coverage with rotating call responsibilities
-- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM
-- Weeknight call and 24-hour weekend call, one week per month

Requirements:
-- Board Certification
-- Oregon License - Highly Preferred, but open to non licensed candidates
-- Certifications: BLS, DEA, ACLS, NPR
-- Must have experience working as a midwife in a hospital setting
-- No new grads or home-birth-only midwives

Duties:
-- Assist with C-section alongside OBGYN
-- IUD/Nexplanon insertion and removal
-- Prenatal care, routine OB checks, and management of normal pregnancies
-- Natural and emergency deliveries in collaboration with on-call physician
-- Postpartum care and patient education
-- Routine reproductive health care (pelvic exams, Pap tests)
-- Birth control counseling and contraceptive management
-- Full-scope women’s health services (excluding endoscopic procedures)

Assignment Details:
-- EMR: Meditech (hospital), Centricity (birth center), eClinical (clinic)
-- Support Staff: Medical Assistants and RNs in clinic
