Part-Time OB/GYN Locum Opportunity in Arizona | Ongoing 24-Hour In-House Coverage | Immediate Start with 10-12 Shifts Per Month | Assignment #111004

Coverage Needed: Immediate and ongoing

Shift Description:
-- 24-hour shifts (in-house)
-- 10-12 shifts per month 
-- 4 shifts will be weekends

Requirements:
-- Board certified or board eligible
-- Fellowship required
-- Must be licensed in Arizona or IMLC
-- BLS, ACLS, PALS, and DEA certified

Assignment Details:
-- Cover triage (around 6 patients per day), LDRP, and gynecological patients (ED and inpatient)
-- Mostly local private practice patients
-- EMR: Cerner
-- Support staff: Labor and delivery RNs, NNP, anesthesiologist 
-- First assist available for c-sections
-- MFM specialist available to consult by phone
-- General surgery backup available
-- Facility details:
-- Continuing Care Nursery, 32+ weeks
-- High-risk deliveries are performed at facility but do transfer out as appropriate
-- Physician suite in the Family Birthing Center department
-- Average delivery volume: 2.6 per day
-- Typical GYN/OR volume: 1 or less per 24 hours
-- Credentialing timeframe: Around 3 months with potential to be sooner
