Obstetrics and Gynecology Physician Locums Job in Arkansas | Scheduled Clinical Hours + Call | Beginning ASAP – Ongoing | Assignment #115252

Coverage Details
-- Beginning as soon as credentialed
-- Estimated credentialing timeframe: 15 days
-- Scheduled Clinical Hours + Call
-- 7 days of coverage needed at a time. Clinic is M-F, but there will be call all 7 days

Call Details
-- 24-hour beeper call coverage
-- Call ratio: 1:2
— Call Back %: 25%
— Average call back per shift: 10 phone consults, 2 patients seen, 1 admission
-- Call response time: 30 minutes

Requirements
-- Board eligible
-- Active Arkansas license
-- BLS certification

Required Procedures / Skills
-- Low and high-risk pregnancy management
-- FHR interpretation (NST, CST, FSE)
-- Level I ultrasound screening (viability)
-- Routine and vaginal deliveries

---- C-section decision-making and procedures
-- Complicated deliveries

---- Breech deliveries
---- Multiple births
---- Abruptions

Assignment Details
— Providers who can supervise APP providers are preferred
-- Practice setting: Inpatient and outpatient required
-- Patients per shift: 5–10
-- Beds in department: 15
-- Average deliveries per year: 300
-- Support staff: 1 RN, 3 MAs, 1 PA/NP, 3 office staff
-- EMR: MediTech
