Obstetrics And Gynecology Physician Locums Job in California| Beginning June | Assignment #109479

Shift Description:
--24 hour call, 8am-8am

Schedule/Availability Requirements:
--June 4-9 (ending 10th am)
--July 3-6 (ending 7th am)
--August 8-13 (ending 14th am)
--Will then need two locums total starting in August until December to cover a maternity leave

Details/Requirements:
--Board Certified OBGYN or Board Eligible within 5 years – required
--California license – required
--Other Certifications – DEA – required during credentialing 
--Malpractice – Clean preferred
--Availability at time of name clear – required
--Demonstration of performance of at least 100 gynecological surgical procedures in the past two years or successful completion of a hospital-affiliated formalized residency or clinical fellowship.
--Duties: Deliveries (average 23-30 deliveries per month), C-sections, ED call coverage for OB/GYN related issues. 
--Required Procedures: All OBGYN. Specific procedures TBD
--EMR: Cerner
--Support Staff: Anesthesiologists (1 on-call after hours and on weekends for OR’s and FBC) General Surgeons, 3 local OB/GYN’s, 1 Family Medicine OB, Pediatrician on-call, experienced and skilled Respiratory Therapists.  
--Reason for Coverage: Cancellation and maternity leave
--Credentialing Timeframe: Minimum 10 days from completed app
--Proctoring is required for all appointees having interval or new privileges in accordance with the specific proctoring requirements of the relevant departments
