OBGYN Physician Locums Job in California | 24-Hour Call Ongoing | Beginning in August | Assignment # 110097

Coverage Needed:
--24-hour call ongoing 
--August 1–11 (ending 12th am); there will be an ongoing need in 2026

Shift Description:  
--24-hour call for OB and Gyn ED (no clinic or office patients) 
--Physicians do not need to remain in house but must be within 20-minute response time 
--Average worked callback hours: 5-7 

Details/Requirements:  
--Board Certified OBGYN 
--California license active 
--Residency requirements/Fellowship - IM/FP, OB, GYN 
--BLS, DEA, NRP/PALS - required during credentialing 
--Availability for the dates at name clear 
--Clean malpractice/background for credentialing - highly preferred 
--Local - highly preferred 
--Required procedures: deliveries (C-section/vaginal), Gynecological surgeries 
--Setting: inpatient/outpatient 
--Duties: full scope OB GYN 
--EMR: Cerner 
--No NICU 
--Patients per day: 16-20 
--Deliveries vary, monthly is about 40 
--Support Staff: Dedicated MA, Practice Manager 
--Reason for coverage: permanent provider decreasing coverage
