OB/GYN Physician Locums Job in California | Coverage Dates in October and December | Assignment # 110934

Coverage Needed:
--10/7 - 10/17
--10/20 - 10/30
--12/6 - 12/11
--12/28

Shift Description:
--24-hour call, 8am-8am

Requirements:
--Board certified or Board eligible within 5 years
--Must be licensed in California
--DEA certified
--Proctoring is required for all appointees having interval or new privileges

Assignment Details:
--Average callback hours worked: 4-6 hours
--Hospital setting with dedicated Labor & Delivery floor, Family Birthing Center with own OR for C-sections
--Deliveries (around 25-40 per month), C-sections, emergency department coverage for OB/GYN-related issues
--EMR: Cerner
--Support staff: Anesthesiologists (1 on-call after hours and on weekends), general surgeons, 3 local OB/GYNs, 1 Family Medicine OB, Pediatrician on-call, respiratory therapists
--Credentialing timeline: minimum 10 days from completed application
