OB/GYN Physician Locums Job in Colorado | 24-Hour Call | Beginning December 23 - Ongoing | Assignment #112908
Coverage Details
-- December 23, 7p - 7a
-- December 24, 7p-7a or 7a-7a
-- December 25, 7p-7a or 7a-7a
-- December 31, 7a-7a
-- Ongoing dates will be determined as schedules are released.
Shift Details
-- 24-hour call
-- Weekend coverage required
-- Site will not schedule providers for more than 2–3 consecutive days
-- Total of 9–10 shifts needed per month for all locums
-- Average worked callback hours: 6.62
Requirements
-- Board Certified OB/GYN
-- Active Colorado license or Active IMLC
-- Active DEA – Highly Preferred (site will consider a transferred DEA, but must keep for duration of assignment)
-- OB/GYN Residency
-- Local/drive-in candidates – Highly Preferred
-- Clean malpractice history
Required Procedures/Skills
-- GYN emergencies
-- Obstetrics including C-section
Assignment Details
-- Setting: Inpatient, Emergency Room
-- Facility Trauma Level: III
-- EMR: Epic
-- Support staff: RN
-- Number of beds: 8
-- Admissions: 1 per day
-- Deliveries per month: 30
-- Reason for coverage: Gaps in coverage
-- Site backs up family medicine (no midwives)
-- Site cannot schedule providers for more than 4 consecutive days for patient safety
