OB/GYN Laborist Locums Job in Colorado | Clinic + Call | Beginning ASAP - Ongoing | Assignment #114968

Coverage Details
-- Hospital shifts: 8am–8am
-- Clinic shifts: 8am–5pm
-- Call schedule: 1 in 5 day; 1 in 10 overnight and weekend

Requirements
-- Board Certified in OB/GYN
-- Active Colorado license or active IMLC LOQ
-- Clean background

Required Procedures/Skills
-- Low-risk pregnancy management: patients with pre-existing problems, history of twins, history of toxemia, pyelonephritis, hyperemesis, etc.
-- Fetal heart rate interpretation (NST, CST, FSE)
-- Routine vaginal delivery
-- Complicated delivery including C-section, breech, multiple births, and abruptions
-- VBACs
-- Repair of third- and fourth-degree lacerations

Preferred Procedures
-- High risk pregnancy – Pt.’s with toxemia, diabetes, Class II or higher cardiacs, chronic lung problems, chronic renal disease, etc.
-- OB ultrasounds - Performance of interpretation, level 1/screening (viability), level 2/targeted (anatomic)
-- Office/minor gynecology - IUD, cystoscopy, colposcopy, cryosurgery, LEEP, etc.
-- OB ultrasounds - Interpretation, Level I/screening (viability)

Assignment Details
-- Case mix: Low-risk pregnancy 70%, high-risk pregnancy 10%, C-section 30%
-- Average clinic volume: 20 patients per physician per day
-- Average deliveries: 8 per physician per week
-- Average OB/GYN surgeries: 8 per week
-- Group size: 5 OB/GYNs and 2 mid-levels
-- Other OB/GYNs present during locum coverage
-- Lab and ultrasound onsite, performed by technicians
-- EMR: Epic (clinic and hospital)
