OBGYN Physician Locums Job | Call + Clinic | Southwest Georgia

Our client in Georgia is seeking an OBGYN physician for locum coverage. This opportunity includes a mix of clinic and call coverage with strong support from midwives, APPs, and an OB hospitalist group.

Dates for Assignment: Coverage needed ASAP (60 days credentialing timeline) daily on a 7-day rotation (1 week on / 1 week off) 

Clinic Hours:
--Monday – Thursday: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
--Friday: 8:30 AM – 12:00 PM

Job Requirements for Assignment:
--Active Georgia medical license required
--Comfortable with vaginal deliveries, cesareans, circumcisions (preferred), and most GYN procedures
--Support from 2 midwives, 2 APPs, and OB hospitalist group
--EMR: Meditech Expanse 
--Average 20–25 deliveries per month
--Clinic sees ~70 patients/day with 4 advanced practitioners supporting 
--Single hospital coverage

Schedule Overview:
--Monday–Wednesday: Clinic + 24-hour back-up call for midwives
--Thursday: OR day + 24-hour call (clinic if light case day)
--Friday: Clinic + 24-hour call with hospitalist support
--Saturday–Sunday: 24-hour call with hospitalist support
