Primary responsibilities include responding to obstetric emergencies, performing deliveries and cesarean sections when indicated, and managing gynecologic cases during assigned call periods. The position requires board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology with prescriptive authority and continuous availability for emergency obstetric and gynecologic cases requiring immediate attention.
