A facility is seeking an OB/GYN for locum tenens coverage.

There are many places to visit while on assignment in Central Michigan! Take a trip to Belle Isle Park, Mackinac Island, or the Detroit Zoo!

The facility uses Epic as its EMR system and has 420 hospital beds (not including WHC). It is a Level II NICU and Level II Trauma Center. Providers must be able to manage both low-risk pregnancies (such as twins, toxemia, or pyelonephritis) and high-risk pregnancies (including toxemia, diabetes, Class II or higher cardiac conditions, chronic lung disease, and chronic renal disease). Required labor and delivery procedures include routine vaginal deliveries, low forceps deliveries, decision-making for C-sections, as well as complicated deliveries such as C-sections, breech presentations, multiple births, and abruptions. Providers must also be comfortable with VBACs and repairing 3rd and 4th degree lacerations. Required gynecology procedures include office and minor gynecology (IUDs, cystoscopy, colposcopy, cryosurgery, LEEP, etc.) and surgical gynecology, including open procedures.
