OB/GYN Physician

Women’s Integrated Health Care in Grand Blanc, Michigan is seeking a full-time OB/GYN physician to join our team of four physicians and two nurse practitioners 

Job Title: OB/GYN Physician

Job Summary:

Provides comprehensive medical care related to women’s reproductive health, pregnancy, and childbirth. This role involves diagnosing and treating conditions of the female reproductive system, managing prenatal and postnatal care, and performing surgical procedures when necessary.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide routine and preventive gynecological care, including annual exams, Pap smears, and screenings
  • Manage pregnancy, labor, and delivery, including high-risk pregnancies
  • Diagnose and treat reproductive system disorders, infections, and diseases
  • Perform surgical procedures such as cesarean sections, hysterectomies, and laparoscopies
  • Offer family planning services, including contraception counseling and fertility evaluations
  • Monitor and manage menopausal symptoms and hormone-related conditions
  • Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with medical regulations
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses and other healthcare professionals
  • Educate patients on reproductive health, wellness, and disease prevention

Qualifications:

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree
  • Completion of an accredited OB/GYN residency program
  • Board certification or eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology
  • Valid state medical license
  • Strong clinical, diagnostic, and surgical skills

In-Office Procedures include:

  • Ultrasound
  • Non-stress testing
  • Hysteroscopy, IUD insertion, Colposcopy, Leep, Urodynamics testing, Cystoscopy, Uterine ablation, Polyp removal, Procedures offered under conscious sedation

Work Environment:

  • Hospital, surgery center and private practice
  • Combination of office hours and on-call shifts
  • Offering 1:8 call coverage with one weekend call (Fri – Sun) approximately every 8 weeks
  • Exposure to emergency and high-risk situations
  • MFM support available
