Shift Details

-- June 4th (7am) - June 11th (7pm)
-- June 15th (7am) - June 22nd (7am)
-- June 29th (7am) - July 9th (7pm)

Requirements
-- Board Certified or board eligible
-- Fellowship required
-- Licensed in Nevada or IMLC
-- ABLS

Required Procedures/Skills
-- Low-risk and high-risk pregnancy-- FHR interpretation (NST/CST/FSE)
-- OB ultrasounds – performance and interpretation
-- Level I/screening ultrasound (viability)
-- Level II/targeted ultrasound (anatomic)
-- Amniocentesis
-- Routine delivery
    -- Vaginal delivery
    -- Low forceps delivery
-- Complicated delivery
    -- C-section
    -- Breech delivery
    -- Multiple births
    -- Abruptions
    -- VBACs
-- Repair of 3rd and 4th degree lacerations
-- Office/minor gynecology (IUD, cystoscopy, colposcopy, cryosurgery, LEEP, etc.)
-- Surgical gynecology – open
-- Laparoscopic diagnostic/minor procedures (tubal ligation, LOA’s, chromal tubation)
-- Operative/major gynecology (ectopic pregnancy, ovary removal, cystectomy, extensive LOA’s)
-- Laser certification

Assignment Details
-- Locum call is for both inpatient and outpatient
-- Callback percentage: 75%
-- Average number of phone consults: 3-4
-- Patient seen per shift: 2-4
-- Admissions required (average of 2-3)
-- Patients per shift: 20
-- Average deliveries per year: 375
-- EMR: MedHost
-- Support staff includes RN, MA, PA/NPs, and office staff
-- Looking for 1–2 providers to work clinic coverage
