OBGYN Physician Locums in North Carolina | Beginning August 2025 | Assignment # 109030

Start date: 8/1/2025 through 1/2/2026

Shift description: 24-hour call

Details/Requirements:
--Board Certified, ACOG certified
--Active North Carolina license, NC DEA, NC Medicaid, NC Medicare/PECOS enrolled
--Must be fully vaccinated
--Actively delivering babies (must submit case logs for past 24 months)
--Case logs from the last 2 years (must be from a hospital not an estimate from the provider) *required in submission*
--No Recent or open Malpractice Cases
--Include disciplinary actions, if any
--Prefer candidates within driving distance

Responsibilities:
--Round on patients, on-call for emergent C-sections and vaginal deliveries.
--Available for any emergent GYN procedures.
--Call is 20 mins response time per hospital bylaws, Hospital will call cell phone.
--High risk deliveries will only be emergent (no NICU at our facility), transferred to other nearby locations
--Level 1 nursery
--Support staff, 24/7 on call Anesthesiology support, 24/7 on call Radiology support
--Average 27 deliveries monthly with average of 11 C-Sections, 3 labor rooms and 14 postpartum
--Census is typically 1-3 deliveries/24 hr period.
--EMR is MediTech 6.1
--Inpatient setting
