Position Overview

(Login for Information)—one of the few independent, community-based hospitals in NC—is seeking a BC/BE OB/GYN physician to join Sampson Women’s Center, a stable and well-established hospital-owned practice.

This is a strong opportunity to join a friendly, collaborative team serving a growing community. Work alongside one experienced OB/GYN and enjoy support from engaged hospital leadership, including a physician CEO/CMO. Work Schedule & Practice Details

• Schedule: Full-time with flexible clinic, call, and surgical balance

• Call: ~7 days/month (1 weekend)

• Clinic Volume: 25–35 patients/day

• OB/GYN Mix: ~80% OB / 20% GYN

• Deliveries: ~27 per month, ~11 monthly C-sections

• Procedures: Laparoscopic skills required (no robotics)

Practice Support

• 1–2 MAs/LPNs + front office support

• 24/7 Anesthesia & Radiology

• Collaborative specialists: General Surgery, Ortho, Primary Care, Urology

(Login for Information) is a 146-bed, DNV-accredited, independent hospital serving the region since 1950. We offer acute care, outpatient surgery, emergency and critical care, women’s and children’s services, and specialty care including General Surgery, Orthopedics, OB/GYN, and Urology. We also provide outpatient physical therapy, imaging, and a Health + Wellness Center in partnership with the YMCA.
