A facility is seeking an OB/GYN for locum tenens coverage.
The facility is located in Bellefontaine, OH.
This opportunity involves 24-hour beeper call only, scheduled on a 1:3 rotation. The locum will be on call for the hospital, primarily covering OB call for the Family Birth Center. This is an off-site role, so the provider must be within 30 minutes of the facility while on call. Emergent GYN cases are unlikely, and the provider will be the only MD on call, not responsible for office visits. The hospital is supported by RNs, RTs, CRNAs, and an anesthesiologist. This need is due to a vacancy. Onsite resources include a lab and ultrasound, and approximately 21% of patients require C-sections.
