OB/GYN Hospitalist Locums Job in Ohio | Weekend In-House Call Schedule | Beginning June 26 - Ongoing | Assignment #11574

Coverage Details
-- Possibility of June coverage
-- July 17 – July 19

Shift Description
-- Friday 7 AM – Monday 7 AM
-- 24-hour in-house call
-- Every other weekend schedule
-- Ongoing coverage: 2–3 weekends per month

Requirements
-- Board Certified
-- Ohio license - highly preferred
-- BLS
-- ACLS
-- Active DEA
-- Clean malpractice history

Required Procedures / Skills
-- Low- and high-risk pregnancy management
-- FHR interpretation (NST, CST, FSE)
-- OB ultrasound performance and interpretation
-- Routine vaginal delivery
-- C-section decision-making and management
-- Complicated deliveries (C-section, breech, multiples, abruptions)
-- VBACs
-- Repair of 3rd and 4th degree lacerations
-- Surgical gynecology (open and laparoscopic, minor and major procedures)
-- Operative gynecology including ectopic pregnancy, oophorectomy, cystectomy

Assignment Details
-- Practice setting: hospital-based call; ~90% labor & delivery
-- Coverage model: 2 providers, at least once per month
-- Call ratio: 1:4
-- Facility: 34 L&D/postpartum/triage beds; 205 total hospital beds
-- APP support: 1 per 12-hour shift
-- Onsite lab and ultrasound services
-- Support staff includes L&D nurses and midwives
-- Patient mix: 60% low-risk OB, 40% high-risk OB
-- 60% gynecology cases
-- Average 5 GYN surgeries per day
-- Average 4 nursery admissions per day
-- Nursery level II
-- Credentialing timeframe: 30–90 days
-- EMR: Epic
