Shift Description:
--1:6 week day and 1:6 weekend starting July, 24 hour call, 8a-8a
--Schedule: 24h weekday 48h weekend
--Call Ratio: 1:6

Requirements:
--Board Certification
--PA License
--Advanced Fetal Monitoring

Required Procedures:
--Low Risk Pregnancy
--High Risk Pregnancy
--FHR Interpretation – NST/CST/FSE
--OB ultrasounds – Performance of Interpretation
--OB ultrasounds – Performance of Level I/Screening
--Cervical cerclage
--Complicated Delivery –C-Section, Breech, Multiple Births, Abruptions, etc.
--VBAC’s
--Repair of 3rd & 4th Degree Lacerations
--Laparoscopic Diagnostic/Minor      Only-Tubal Ligation
--==--LOA’s
--Chromal Tubation
--Operative/Major (Includes Diagnostic) – Ectopic Pregnancy, Ovary Removal, Cystectomy, Extensive LOA’
--Routine Delivery –Vaginal, Low Forceps, Decision-Making for C-Section
--Surgical Gynecology – Open

--Practice Setting: Hospital call OB/GYN
--Reason for Coverage: Loss of FT OBGYN
--Total Number of Beds: Labor and Delivery: 8, Post Partum: 24  
--Average Number of Scheduled Patients Per Day: 3
--Number of Physicians in Practice:  5
--Onsite Lab
--Onsite Ultrasound
--Support Staff: laborist, midwife and hospital nursing staff
--What Percentage of Practice is Low Risk Pregnancy: 60%
--What Percentage of Practice is High Risk Pregnancy: 40%
--What Percentage of Practice is GYN: 10%
--Average Number of GYN Surgeries Per Day: 1
--What Percentage of Patients are C-Section: 25%
