Job Description
Belong to a premier, high-acuity OB program within a nationally recognized health system. This hospital recently completed a multi-million-dollar renovation to its Women's & Children's tower, featuring a state-of-the-art OB Emergency Department and Level III NICU. Leadership and staff are deeply committed to delivering high-quality care, promoting professional growth, and supporting the well-being of physicians.
Position Highlights
True OB Hospitalist model — manage triage, L&D, and postpartum rounding
GYN component limited to consults and emergency procedures (D&C, ectopic, cysts, etc.)
Double coverage model with Certified Nurse Midwives and physicians on every shift
Flexible scheduling: 7 shifts/month (24-hour) or mix of 12s and 24s
In-house only — no home call
Level III NICU: 25% of babies from maternal transports; strong subspecialty support
High-acuity, tertiary-level care while maintaining work-life balance

Compensation & Benefits
Estimated Base Salary: ~$380,000 (range $350K-$450K DOE) plus Signing Bonus
Incentives: RVU bonus potential + extra pay for additional shifts
