Job Description
Contributes to the University's mission through teaching students and residents, research and clinical services
Major/Essential Functions
*Provides patient care services in outpatient and inpatient settings
*Participates in scholarly activities in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, in the area of Women's Health
*Participates in committees and other administrative duties
*Ensures compliance with HIPAA and billing regulations
*Adheres to institutional and departmental policies and procedures
*Demonstrates Professionalism in accordance with Paul L. Foster School of Medicine Declaration of Faculty Professional Responsibility
Minimum Qualifications
*M.D. or D.O. degree
*Successful completion of an ACGME-accredited or RCPSC-accredited residency program in Obstetrics and Gynecology
*Texas medical license or eligible for licensure in the state of Texas
Preferred Qualifications
*Experience education of residents and/or medical students
*Board certification in OB/GYN by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology for assistant professor or higher.
*Emerging or established regional or national reputation for the rank of associate professor or higher
*Bilingual in English/Spanish
