Position Summary

Swedish Renton OBGYN is seeking a full-time locum OBGYN physician to provide outpatient coverage during multiple maternity/paternity leaves in 2026. This is a clinic-only role with no call responsibilities, ideal for providers who thrive in a structured outpatient setting.

While the primary need is for Monday–Friday, 8 AM–5 PM clinic coverage, there may be optional opportunities to assist in the OR or participate in hospital call during scheduled hours. These options can be discussed during the interview process.

 Key Responsibilities

• Provide full-scope outpatient OBGYN care
• Interpret and finalize in-office ultrasound reports, including:
  • 20-week anatomy scans
  • GYN ultrasounds
• Collaborate with clinic staff to ensure continuity of care
• Optional OR assistance or hospital call (discussed during interview)

Note: Please indicate your proficiency with ultrasound interpretation in your submission.

Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Active Washington State Medical License (or ability to obtain)
• Proficiency in interpreting and finalizing OB and GYN ultrasound reports
• Availability for full-time clinic coverage starting May 2026
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Schedule

• Clinic Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
• Call: None required
• Optional Duties: OR assistance or hospital call during scheduled hours (interview-dependent)
