OBGYN Hospitalist – Six 24-Hour Shifts per Month (Option for Additional Shifts and 12-Hour Flexibility)

Golden Gate OBGYN is a busy and growing private practice in San Francisco with a new satellite office opening in Marin County in late 2026. We are seeking a dedicated OBGYN Hospitalist to join our team and provide inpatient coverage at CPMC Van Ness Campus.

Position Highlights
- Hospitalist-Only Role: Pure inpatient coverage — no outpatient clinic responsibilities
- Schedule: 6 twenty-four (24) hour shifts per month (Option to pick up additional shifts and to split into 12-hour shifts when mutually agreeable)
- Occasional Postpartum Rounding: When the Nurse Practitioner is scheduled off
- Professional Expenses: Practice pays for all professional dues, licenses, and malpractice insurance (including tail coverage)

Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive labor and delivery coverage, including triage assessment, management of labor, deliveries, and high-risk pregnancies
- Assist in cesarean sections and perform gynecologic surgeries and procedures as needed
- Manage postpartum care and gynecologic emergencies
- Collaborate closely with outpatient providers, nurses, and advanced practice providers for seamless continuity of care
- Participate in a team-based hospitalist model with excellent support staff
- Deliver compassionate, evidence-based care in a fast-paced inpatient environment
Qualifications
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Eligible for medical licensure in California
- Strong clinical skills in inpatient obstetrics and gynecology
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care
