This urgent care and occupational medicine clinic provides comprehensive healthcare services for both scheduled and walk-in patients. The facility specializes in work-related injury treatment and preventive health examinations for various employers and governmental agencies. New clinicians receive a one-week orientation and training period alongside permanent physicians before practicing independently.

Alaska offers diverse outdoor activities and natural attractions that accommodate extended stays for deeper exploration. The state features notable destinations including Denali National Park, Fairbanks, and Copper Center for fishing opportunities, with coastal areas accessible by train from Anchorage to Seward. Popular activities include fishing tours and boat excursions through the Kenai Fjords, with many visitors choosing strategic locations to reduce travel times between attractions.

The clinician will diagnose and treat work-related injuries while performing comprehensive physical examinations including DOT, public safety, and surveillance evaluations for private companies and governmental agencies. The position requires evaluating and treating urgent care patients on a walk-in basis with 90% occupational medicine cases and 10% urgent care. The clinician will oversee and collaborate with advanced practice providers, perform in-office procedures, and communicate with employers to provide medical guidance. DOT certification must be obtained before the first shift, and all documentation must be completed using AllScripts EMR system.
