A nationally recognized regional health system in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho is seeking a Board-Certified Occupational Medicine Physician to serve as Medical Director of its growing Occupational Medicine program within a large, multispecialty clinical network.Position Highlights: Leadership role as Medical Director of Occupational Medicine Outpatient-only practice with no call Mondayand#8211;Friday schedule (8:00 AMand#8211;5:00 PM) Epic EMR in a well-supported clinical environment Oversee development and expansion of occupational health services and programs Design and implement clinical guidelines, protocols, and strategic initiatives Serve as clinical leader, mentor, and educator for care teams and community partners Build and maintain relationships with employers and referring providers Support recruitment, onboarding, and integration of new clinicians Provide pre-employment screenings, workplace injury care, and occupational health services Collaborative team including advanced practice providers, medical assistants, and dedicated support staff Strong emphasis on quality, safety, and patient satisfaction Qualifications: MD or DO from an accredited medical school Board Certified in Occupational Medicine or related specialty Minimum of 5+ years of leadership experience in occupational medicine preferred Experience in multispecialty clinical environments strongly preferred Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills Commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care Compensation/Benefits: Competitive compensation with base salary plus productivity and quality incentives Hospital-employed position Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance CME allowance Employer retirement contribution Malpractice coverage with tail Location andamp; Lifestyle: Nestled along a stunning mountain lake in North Idaho, this vibrant community offers an exceptional quality of life defined by breathtaking scenery, four-season recreation, and a welcoming small-city atmosphere.
