The clinician will diagnose and treat work-related injuries while performing pre-placement, DOT, public safety, and surveillance physical examinations for various private companies and governmental agencies. Responsibilities include evaluating and treating urgent care patients on a walk-in basis, potentially overseeing and supervising advanced practice clinicians in the clinic. The position requires completing all documentation in a timely manner, communicating with employers, and providing medical guidance. Patient demographics consist of 90% occupational medicine cases and 10% urgent care cases, with prescriptive authority required.
