Oncology Locums Job in California | Full Time | Beginning March 2 – Ongoing | Assignment #112346

Coverage Details
-- Start Date: 3/2/26
-- Ongoing assignment
-- Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM
-- Credentialing Timeframe: 30–60 days

Requirements
-- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Oncology or Hematology
-- CA License
-- Fellowship
-- DEA
-- ACLS certification required for providers requesting Moderate Sedation Privileges
-- PALS certification required when treating pediatric patients

Duties
-- Diagnosis, staging, precision medicine, symptom management, and treatment of Hematology/Oncology patients
-- MD oversight for Oncology/Hematology clinic and Infusion Services
-- Infusion Center requires MD onsite for all treatments
-- Infusion Center provides chemotherapy, immunotherapy, transfusions, hormone therapy, antibiotic therapy, RA injections, and therapeutic phlebotomies

Additional Details
-- Outpatient chemotherapy and infusion center coverage
-- Hospital consults required with call
-- MD works directly with ER physician or hospitalist for admissions
-- Consults and admissions as needed
-- Admissions per day: 15–20
-- Patients per day: 15–20
-- Types of cases: Oncology/Hematology, all tumor types
-- Support Staff: 1 clinic RN, 2 MAs, 2 front office clerks, 1 quality analyst/billing, 10 infusion RNs
-- EMR: iKnowmed (Clinic) and Cerner (Infusion)
