Shift Description:
-- Monday – Friday, 8am-5pm
-- Oncology/Hematology Clinic and Infusion Center settings

Requirements:
-- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Oncology or Hematology
-- Fellowship
-- Must be licensed in California
-- ACLS, DEA

Assignment Details:
-- MD oversight for both the Oncology/Hematology Clinic and Infusion Services
-- Clinic duties include diagnosis, staging, symptom management, and treatment
-- Infusion Center duties include chemotherapy, immunotherapy, blood/platelet transfusions, hormone therapy, antibiotic therapy, rheumatoid arthritis injections, and therapeutic phlebotomies
-- EMR: iKnowmed (Clinic) and Cerner (Infusion)
-- Midlevel provider to help with patient flow, orders, etc.
-- Support staff includes 11 RNs (1 clinic and 10 infusion) and 2 MAs
-- Average patients per day: 15-20
-- Estimated credentialing timeframe: 30-60 days
