Job Description
Physician led, independent 450+ bed hospital in Kansas City is seeking a Hematology/Oncology physician to join and help shape a community oncology program.
Approximately 60% Hematology (no acute leukemias) and 40% Oncology
Reasonable patient volumes averaging 17 patients per day — can see more if desired
Radiation Oncology, Surgical Oncology, Financial Navigation and Nurse Navigation all in place
Oracle/Cerner EMR
Weekly Tumor Conferences - Mayo Clinic Care Network partner
Dedicated Oncology APRN for inpatient coverage
Join a rapidly expanding program: practicing oncologists, 2026 and 2027 fellows encouraged to apply
H-1B visa sponsorship available — unable to sponsor J-1 waivers
Compensation & Benefits:
Medical Director will receive a base guarantee/medical director compensation of up to $700,000 annually + wRVU bonuses
Employer retirement contributions of $46,000
Generous sign-on bonus, 8 weeks PTO, CME stipend, full health benefits, relocation assistance, and malpractice coverage
