Hematology/Oncology Locums Job in Missouri | Scheduled Clinical Hours Plus Call | Beginning April 1 – Ongoing | Assignment #113437

Coverage Details
-- March 1 – Ongoing
-- Two providers needed
-- Provider must have 2+ weeks of availability
-- Preference for providers who can offer 4 weeks/month
-- Estimated credentialing timeframe: 90 days (emergency privileges available for open dates within 60 days)

Shift Details
-- Clinic Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.
-- Possible half-day off during the week (Monday–Thursday)
-- Hospital call on weekends and some weekday evenings

Call Details
-- Call type: Beeper; call ratio 1:3
-- Call response time: 15 minutes
-- Phone consults: 0–3 per night
-- Call back: 10%
-- Night call census: 1–2
-- Call is light; mostly phone calls and occasional rounding

Requirements
-- Board certified or board eligible
-- ACLS
-- ATLS
-- BLS
-- Fellowship preferred

Assignment Details
-- BMT/BMB preferred, but flexible
-- Primary site: Clinic; hospital involvement mainly during call
-- No job-share with 3-week-on/2-week-off physician
-- Patients per clinic shift: 15–23
-- Hem/Onc vs Medical Onc split: 40/60
-- No acute leukemia or malignant hem
-- Admissions managed by hospitalists
-- Supervision of APPs required
-- Primarily Med Onc and Hem patients; consults and follow-ups
-- Possible bone marrow
-- EMR: Epic

Facility Details
-- PEDs Level: 2
-- Facility Trauma Level: 2
-- Support staff: 5 RNs, 5 MAs, 3 PAs/NPs, 5 office staff
-- Facility features modern cancer technology (daVinci, Elekta Versa HD, IMRT, PET/CT, SpaceOAR Hydrogel, ABUS)
