Oncology/Hematology Locums Job in New Mexico | Monday–Friday | Beginning 2026 – Ongoing | Assignment #112555

Coverage Details
-- Many dates available each month in 2026
-- Full coverage: 5 days/week (M–F), could include weekend call
-- At least 1 week/month up to full-time coverage
-- Estimated credentialing timeframe: 90 days

Shift Description
-- Hours: 8 AM – 5 PM, Monday–Friday
-- Weekend call: 24-hour call
-- Weekday call shared with employed providers

Call Details
-- Call Type: Beeper
-- Response Time: 20 minutes
-- Ratio: 1:2
-- Average per 24 hours: Phone consults (2), Patients seen (1), Admissions (1)
-- Call consists of RN questions, chemo patient inquiries, minimal ED consults

Requirements
-- Board Certified/Board Eligible
-- BLS required
-- Must supervise APP

Practice Setting
-- Stroke-certified facility
-- 18-bed chemo suite
-- Avg patients per day: 17
-- Support Staff: 5 RNs, 1 MA, 1 APP
-- Dedicated pharmacists for chemo education
-- Radiation oncology under same roof
-- COC-accredited Cancer Center
-- Weekly tumor boards
-- Clinical trials (Phase 2 & 3)
-- Facility trauma level: 4
-- EMR: Mosiaq + MediTech
