Hematology/Oncology Physician Locums Job | New Mexico

Dates of coverage: Starting as soon as credentialed, ongoing for 12 months. 

Details/Requirements:
--Monday through Friday, 8:00am-5pm
--Required to offer 3-4 weeks per month
--Will accept 3-5 days per week
--Call coverage: 24-hour weekend call coverage - 1 weekend per month (beeper). Minimal call backs- 2 to 3 per 24 hour period
--Bread and butter oncology, with a split of benign hematology. 60% hematology, 40% oncology 
--Hospital consults and outpatient clinic coverage
--Daily Volume: 15-18 appointments, mainly follow ups. Typically 2-3 new patient appts. 
--Active New Mexico licensure is preferred
--Board Certification required
--Support staff: 6 FT oncologists and 6 NP's
--3+ years of post training experience practicing medical oncology is preferred
