Oncology Hospital Based job located in North Carolina

Out-Patient Clinic seeking BC Medical Oncologist to start 11/11/2024
- Schedule:  Monday-Friday 7a-4pm
- Support Staff: 1 RN, 2 MAs, and .5 APP
- # of patients per day:  16-20
- 80% medicaid; 100% adult. 
- Physician will see new & established medical oncology patients in a clinical setting, oversite of assigned patients receiving infusion; potential participation in assigned site specialization, targeting malignant hematology, GI, and breast but will see all general oncology patients
- Overseeing patients receiving infusion chemotherapy, radiation therapy, targeted therapy, hormone therapy
- Encounter closure within 72 hours of patient visit. 
- Attend required provider orientation, training meetings, etc.  
- Refer for clinical trials as appropriate.
- May float between 2 locations which are 20 minutes apart.
- EMR: EPIC
- Required: NC license, DEA, BLS, COVID Vaccine
