Oncology Hospital Based job located in Pennsylvania

Facility is seeking Locum full time BC/BE Hematology/Oncology physician to provide float pool coverage starting May 10th, 2026
- Length: ongoing, minimum 6 month commitment 
- Clinic Days/Hours: Dayshift, 5 days/week, 8 hours each day
- Rounding is supported by the APPs but does require physician coverage.  Hospital coverage aligns with call rotation.
- Weekend coverage: 2 weekends per month
- Night call: 10 days per month
- Call rotation schedule: 1:2
- Call types (inpatient/phone/both): Both
- How many hours of rounding are included during call: on Sat/Sun 2 hours gratis
- Walk through a typical call shift: Evening call M-F starts at 16:15-0800.  Typically 2-3 patient calls from 17:00-21:00, rarely after 21:00.  You will be on call for ER and hospital team. Weekend is 24 hour shift.
- Average # of admissions/call shift: Consulting group only, hospitalists handle admissions
- Any patient contact that does NOT count as call back: phone calls
- Walk through a typical day for the provider: Day starts at 0800, clinic patients start at 08:15/08:30.  Last patient scheduled at 15:30 and a thirty minute lunch is provided.

- Physician to see all solid tumor and benign and malignant heme
- Infusion/Treatment: 14 chair, 2 bedroom infusion room on site.  Serves as community infusion center.
